The Power of Abundant Wellness

To be an empowered woman is to make healthy and informed life choices. Our bodies are so important, and when we understand that we have the power to communicate with it, we hold abundant wellness in our own hands. Each decision on how we take care of ourselves has a direct impact on how healthy we feel. We absorb everything that we do from the inside out. Our bodies are always communicating with us; all we have to do is to stop and listen. It can be so empowering to know your body is always doing its best to take care of you.

Everything you consume, whether via your mouth or your skin is detoxified and assimilated by your body. When your toxic burden exceeds your body’s ability to metabolize it, you get inflamed, can feel tired, notice weight gain, and nothing works quite like it should. This is the source of aging.

Aging is actually a mathematical equation.

Aging = antioxidants minus toxins.

So, if you are interested in looking and feeling youthful, it’s important to decrease your toxic burden and increase your antioxidants. One of the first things you can do is to decrease the number of toxic substances you are consuming -- by choosing organic foods, spring water, natural skincare, and wearing natural fibers.

Our skin is the largest organ, and there are no excuses to not be mindful in taking the best care we can of it. We have the power to choose what we allow onto out skin. We are living in a time where there is an abundance of options and plenty of research to support us on a natural wellness journey. It may just take a little adjustment in routines and re-educating ourselves, but the result is a powerhouse of vitality that is waiting for you.

Minimize your exposure to environmental pollutants in your space by using chemical free natural products. We have to take a moment to understand what we can do to live better and healthier; what is it that is affecting our health. There is a multitude of chemicals in our everyday use.

Many such substances that we are exposed to are actually xenoestrogens and endocrine disruptors. This means that they bind to your estrogen receptors tighter than your body’s estrogen would, and your body is continually stimulated by estrogen. This can lead to an estrogen dominant state, which is correlated with PMS, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, and female cancers. You may be beginning to see why it is so important to be mindful of what you allow in and around your body.

You must be the primary steward of your health, and it is imperative to know what is harmful to your skin and what is beneficial. Empower yourself to feel the most abundant wellness by always making non-toxic health choices.
